For very young children
Just stamp “cork” leaves in the tree!
Once your child knows how to recognise numbers, this activity is a good way to reinforce the association between the number symbols and the quantity.
Once finished, you can display the trees as a number frieze in his/her play room.
Here are the trees for you to print: trees number 1 to 5 trees number 6 to 10
The child reads the number in the trunk and stamps as many leaves as required.
