Since the skin can more easily be separated from the meat on this section of chicken, it can be prepared with less fat and calories.
Baked chicken strips can be prepared from breast meat by slicing the breast into strips. These make the perfect size for little fingers to handle.
1 tablespoon of water
Spices of your choice (i.e. garlic powder, parsley, ground turmeric, cinnamon, oregano, ground cumin…)
Prepare an egg wash with egg whites and a little water. Dip the chicken finger into the wash and dredge it through a coating mixture made from crushed nuts, wheat flour and spices. The nuts can be processed so that they are the same consistency as the flour and the spices can be any spice that your children likes. After coating the fingers in the crust mixture: sprayed on both sides with cooking spray.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in a preheated 200* C oven.
